Szechuan cuisine is a style
of Chinese cuisine originating in the great province of
Sichuan in southwestern China. Famed for its bold flavors,
particularly the spiciness resulting from the liberal use of
Sichuan peppercorn which also gives its numbing sensation,
the cuisine is rather popular and well enjoyed all across
China, and has made its way into the realm of international
cuisine.
